About Us
We’re a small team of experienced software professionals based in the UK that puts our people, product, precision and passion before profit. We don’t compromise, and neither do our customers.
Trust
A firm belief in someone or something’s reliability, truth, or ability.
Your business data is precious. It informs, supports and empowers your work and must be ever present, safe and secure. Place it in responsible hands, backed by a professionalism that is fading in an age of ‘fast & loose’ software development.
To whom you trust your data matters and, at MyDriveTime, we don’t take that lightly. It’s why we’re relied upon by thousands of school owners, instructors & students every day.
Knowing who you’re trusting with your business is an important decision. Fortunately, we’re unique in our make-up and approach, with a UK based, in-house team that is greater than the sum of its parts.

It all started in 2008, when Jo qualified as an instructor.
Running a business generates admin and record-keeping. With no suitable software available for instructors at the time, her husband (and database geek) Dan Hill, our founder, designed an app to help Jo manage bookings, student details and lesson outcomes digitally. An old-school paper solution was never an option.
Recognising that the industry was decades behind in its adoption of digital solutions, and wanting to better support his wife, Dan teamed up with business partner Michelle to design, build and launch MyDriveTime – the first web/mobile hybrid app of its kind – in 2014, paving the way for a digital revolution for driving instructors.
With a growing team working full-time on improving our service while supporting thousands of users daily and maintaining the highest development standards, we’re proud of our innovation and industry contribution that continues to lead the way.
All industries become more professional, efficient, knowledgeable and capable when they use digital solutions to help them work. When it comes to business management, the driver training world lags behind all other sectors due to an over-reliance on paper-based admin and a reluctance to embrace technology.
Our mission is to change this, by providing instructors with the time, guidance and confidence to ‘go digital’. The destination is a fully digital profession that does more, knows more, achieves more, and is held in higher esteem by the general public.
It is incumbent upon us all to strive for a higher standard in every aspect of driver training and our mission focuses on helping forward-thinking instructors and schools to benefit from better business management through technology.
Our first customer, other than Dan’s wife, was a 64-year-old lady who took the bull by the horns and, with our help, transferred from paper and never looked back. Since 2014, thousands have followed, from tech supremos to technophobes who recognise the power of a digital business.
Our loyal and robust community span the UK and even further afield. They work in different ways, with different ambitions and approaches. Different opinions are shared on our Facebook User Group. What ties them all together, is their desire to be better, to ask for help and to improve our industry through the best available tools.
We’d love for you to be a part of our ever-growing community, and want you to know that we’re more than just a faceless app. There are real people behind it who are ready to help you take the next steps. The only silly question is the one you don’t ask.
